Bondi Beach

Monday was the perfect day to take Austin to the beach! Bondi Beach was amazing! We were lucky that the beach was not crowed at all, and we had our own little piece of heaven in a side cove area. The waves were huge!! There are a few pictures of surfers Jenn was able to capture. Enjoy!

The Rocks Part II & Green House

Went back to The Rocks on Sunday to the do a little more shopping around, and to see the Green House by Joost.  The Green House is a traveling waste free restaurant built from recycled material. It was awesome to see the creativity that was used in constructing such a beautiful building.

Shipping carts

Potted plants made up the sides of the building

Line to get in on the last day, we didn't eat here because due to bad weather the restaurant closed a few days.

Ballerinas taking photos outside the building. (Jenn got this great action shot)

After shopping at the markets, I was making my way back to the train when I heard......

Bagpipes in front of the MCA

But I didn't see any Gingers in the group.

It was pretty awesome.

Annie Leibovitz at The MCA

Sunday morning Jenn and I went to The Museum of Contemporary Art to see an exhibit from Annie Leibovitz. The photos documented her life from the years 1990-2005. The exhibit included photographs taken of well known actors, musicians, and athletes. The most interesting were the photographs that told her family's life story. These included the birth of her children, vacations with the family, her sister's funeral, and also her father's funeral. Cameras were not allowed, but I found a few of my favorite photos online...

Annie Leibovitz

Oprah

The White Strips

Cash Family

Willie Nelson

The Best Sandwich & Kingpin Bowling

Jenn went to Big Bite On Pitt yesterday for lunch, and brought back the best veggie sandwich I ever had! It was filled with carrots, potatoes, peppers, and much more! It was HUGE!!!

Yum!

Austin and I went to Kingpin Bowling today. I thought he would just want to play video games, but he decided to bowl for the very first time. It was beyond awesome.
